Terms of Service

By commissioning me, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to the below terms of service.

I WILL draw: ocs, fan art, SFW ship art, oc x canon, mecha, furry, averagely muscular characters, real people (in my art style), ask if unsureI WONT draw: characters based on written description only, extremely muscular characters, NSFW, fetish art, hateful/offensive/unethical art, heavy gore, anything I feel uncomfortable drawing or feel I can't draw properly*I retain the right to decline a commission request for what ever reason, including rejecting commissions from people/accounts who post, reblog, or like content that I judge to be harmful, offensive or unethical

Ordering process:
- Please DM me on twitter or instagram (@leinstellar) and/or email me ([email protected]) to discuss your commission request
- If you are emailing me only, please include your social media handle so that I can tag you when I post the commission

Send a description of what you want me to draw, along with visual references:
- A character reference sheet
- Any pose reference, facial expression descriptions etc
- Any clothing references

- If you have a deadline, please let me know- After discussing and confirming your commission request, you will be requested to provide your Paypal email for me to send an invoice

Payment:
- Payment is to be made in full before I begin the commission
- Refunds* will only be accepted if they are made before I begin drawing, or if I am unable to complete your commission for whatever reason
*Please note that Paypal does NOT refund the transaction fee and you agree that you will not be refunded this amount should you request for a refund
- You are not allowed to issue a Paypal chargeback without it being discussed and approved by me beforehand

Progress pics & revisions:
- Progress pics (WIPs) will be sent during the sketch, lineart, & colouring stages for your confirmation (standard commissions)
- If you requested a doodle commission, you will be sent the final version only
- After I send you the WIP for each stage, you are allowed to request a minor revision to the drawing in the sketch, lineart, or colouring in the stage which the WIP relates
- Major changes may be charged an additional fee, and constitute change proposals which require me to backtrack to change something from a previous stage
- If I made a mistake and overlooked a detail or element of the character, this can be changed free of charge if addressed in a timely manner- If you do not raise an issue when you reply, I will assume you are fine/agree with the WIP and I will proceed with the drawing

The deliverable:
- The finished drawing may be slightly different to the examples shown due to my art style changing over time
- If you prefer a specific style of mine, you are expected to state this in your commission request (and link to the drawing)
- By commissioning me, you acknowledge that I reserve the right to use artistic license and draw things in my own art style and may not feel comfortable imitating the style of another artist or media

- When you have confirmed you are happy with the final drawing, a full resolution .png file will be sent to the email which you have provided
- No changes will be accepted after this stage- If you require a transparent version if the drawing, or a flat background of a different colour, this can be provided free of charge

- You as the commissioner, are responsible for saving any information and images that I provide, and I cannot guarantee that I will still retain copies of WIPs or finished files of your commission if requested in the future

Expected turnaround:
- Most commissions will be complete either within a few days or up to a month, depending on how busy I am and what was ordered (I mainly work on commissions during the weekend)
- Complex commissions (e.g. more than one character or full body) may take 1-2 months
- If you have a deadline, you must make this known in your initial commission request
- I will definitely let you know if your commission is taking longer than expected

Distribution & usage guidelines:
- You agree that all commissioned artwork is for personal use only, unless otherwise agreed prior in your initial commission request
- I do not allow my artwork to be used for commercial purposes (where your usage of the artwork brings you financial gain)
- Usage, upload, or association of my artwork to AI, NFTs, or cryptocurrency are strictly forbidden

Your usage rights:
- You can use the commissioned artwork for social media icons & headers = credit not necessary but greatly appreciated
- Repost or reupload = please credit me by mentioning / tagging me (@leinstellar) or link to my profile
- You can print out the artwork as long as it is for personal use only, and not for resale or advertisement- DO NOT modify the commissioned artwork without my permission, including the removal or editing of my watermark (edits for icons & social media banners are fine)
- DO NOT discredit me from the creation of the artwork or claim you drew it- If the commissioned artwork contains a character which you have ownership over, you are allowed to claim ownership of the character (and reupload to character sites such as toyhou.se with credit), but not claim ownership over the production/creation of the artwork itself

My rights:
- By commissioning me, you are purchasing my services as an artist only and not the rights to the artwork itself
- I reserve full rights to the commissioned artwork, including but not limited to:
- Posting the finished commission (and any associated WIPs) on my social media profile, portfolio, or use as examples for future commissions
- Promoting myself / my brand, or publishing the artwork in future sources
- If the commissioned artwork contains a character which you own, you will be credited accordingly
